Yeshiva University Asked Michael Wildes to Judge Their Debate Competition

Online, May 13, 2014 (Newswire.com) - 'Michael Wildes is one of the most popular immigration attorneys today and associated with Yeshiva University as a managing partner. He judged the recently held debate competition there.'

Langfan Family Constitutional Oratorical Competition is an annual fixture at the renowned Yeshiva University. It was recently help at the Beren Campus where esteemed immigration lawyer, Michael Wildes was invited in the capacity of a judge.

The idea of the competition is to encourage public speaking among students with a flair for the same. The first edition dates back to 2001, and it has been a recurring success ever since.
As opposed to a typical moot court, where judges intervene in between the participant's speck, Langfan emboldens uninterrupted speeches on the part of the contestants, and the judges merely analyses the same thereafter.

Michael Wildes, from Wildes & Weinberg, P.C has been associated with the competition in the past as well. He was brought back by the management of the school one more time along with Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law Adjunct Professor.

The participating students were asked to speak on the topic 'Does Theocracy Have A Place in Democracy?' Upon completion of their speech, each student was given valuable criticism by the judges.
They were not fighting for just respect and recognition, wither. The winner bagged a cash prize of $800, followed by $600 and $400 for the runners up. The competition was a raving success as always.
