Youfit Health Clubs Opens New Club in Suwanee, GA - Its 58th Club
Online, September 10, 2013 (Newswire.com) - YOUFIT HEALTH CLUBS OPENS NEW CLUB IN SUWANEE
Youfit Health Clubs is opening its fifth club - in just the past few months - in the Atlanta area.
Rick Berks, Founder/Owner of Youfit, has made the Atlanta area a priority this year. Since springtime, he's opened new clubs in Norcross, Kennesaw, Douglasville, and Buford, and all are doing very well. Now he's opening a new club in Suwanee, at 2855 Lawrenceville Suwanee Road - his 58th in America.
Rick Berks' business model is non-traditional; it's geared to the average person...not the gym rat. There are no long-term contracts (you pay by the month). No intimidating bodybuilders (the clubs aren't designed for them). No singles scenes. No pressure to join - there are no salespeople. No pushy instructors. And no carbon footprint. In fact, these may be the "greenest" gyms in America - the heating, cooling, water, and power systems are all environmentally-friendly, and the floors are made of recycled tires or Nike "grind" (recycled sneakers!).
"We're building clubs for people who don't want to deal with the trauma and drama of the usual health club," Berks says. "You wouldn't believe how many people tell me they have to get in shape before they'll feel comfortable walking into a health club."
The "Youfit" name is no accident. These are clubs where "you" can "fit" in, without feeling uncomfortable and without feeling pressure from pushy salespeople or pumping bodybuilders. And the fees are probably the lowest you'll ever see for a first-rate fitness club.
"We're thrilled with the reception we've received here," Rick Berks says. "People tell us we're helping to get local folks off the couch. We're creating new businesses here, and new jobs. We're creating them in an environmentally-friendly way. And we're currently researching sites for additional clubs here, as well."
Berks is a successful entrepreneur with a colorful story, and people around the country are certainly taking to his new "model." I'll follow up with a phone call in a few days to see if I can answer any questions. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me if you'd like to speak with Rick Berks or the manager of the new Suwanee club, Shellby Gallagher.
