"Your Marketing Is Horrible" Mark McClure Tells Seminar Attendees

One of the world's top sales and marketing experts, Mark McClure, tells seminar attendees their marketing is "horrible", to quit complaining and do something about it

"Your marketing is horrible!" That's what Mark McClure recently told an audience member at one of his speaking engagements when asked why he thought a lot of small businesses were struggling.

"Take a look at the marketing now a days of small businesses and entrepreneurs and it is pathetic. No one knows how to create a message anymore and they think that all they need to do is promote a stupid logo and tag line and that will drive customers. Wrong. People don't care about your logo, your brand, your picture or your tag line, they only care about what you can do for them. Period. End of story. And if small businesses are going to continue trying to create a brand instead of trying to create a customer, they are going to be broke fast. Quit bitching about the economy and look at your marketing and message. That is the reason for your lack of sales," McClure told the packed room of seminar attendees.

When pressed for what small business, Internet marketers and entrepreneurs could be doing differently to drive more customers, McClure had this to say;

"Look, I like to tell people that when it comes to marketing the more you say the more you sell. Think about the last major item you bought how excited you were? You wanted to read everything you could about it, whether it was a brochure, online, in a magazine, wherever, and the more you read about the product the more excited you got. Well, that's the same with your product or service. People want to learn as much as they can about your product or service and the more you can tell them that creates a buying emotion, the more deals you are going to close. I mean seriously, how in the heck is your freaking picture in your ad going to get me to buy? How is your slogan going to entice me to buy? How is your logo going to get me to pull out my credit card and make that purchase? I mean really! Create ad copy that generates emotion and excitement within your customer, follow that up with a strong call to action and offer, lose the vanity picture of yourself and your damn logo and this by itself will begin to increase sales. The customer's cares about the what, the why and the how. What is you sell, why should I buy from you and then how I can get it. Answer those three questions and you are on your way. And if you want advanced sales and marketing techniques that will blow the doors off your sales, go to www.InsaneMarketing.net", McClure finished.

When we asked some of the seminar attendees what they thought of Mark McClure's event the adjectives and phrases were compelling; "outrageous", "informative," "awesome", "unbelievable", "over the top amazing", "advanced", "outside the box" and "genius" were just some of the words and phrases used.

When we asked seminar attendees what they thought of McClure they had this to say;

"The guy is an animal! Where he learned this information I will never know but it is incredible. When promoters describe Mark as street smart they are not kidding" said Todd Sinclaire.

"Hysterical, obnoxious at times, rude at others and downright in your face....but damn is he good", stated Becky Wainwright.
