YourCause, LLC Launches ReliefRequest.com
YourCause, which offers corporations an innovative web-based employee engagement platform called CSRconnect, introduces an online emergency relief solution for new companies and prior clients wishing to make an immediate impact when disasters strike.
Online, September 1, 2010 (Newswire.com) - DALLAS -YourCause, LLC, a company that provides CSRconnect, an all-inclusive online corporate philanthropy solution, fully hosts and manages Disaster Relief Response for corporate clients. For the fastest online disaster response, YourCause welcomes new companies to use ReliefRequest.com as a resource.
Within 24-hours of a disaster (or filling out the form at ReliefRequest.com), YourCause assembles a custom page directing employees, individuals and their networks to online fundraising and immediate relief. Selected supported organizations may be hand-picked, along with the ability to design and add images as necessary.
Similar to the rest of CSRconnect's applications, the disaster relief application (referred to as "Relief Manager") may be customized for each company's needs, easily adapted for extensions and created to appropriately capture all activity for reporting purposes. In addition, all graphics, text, etc. may be modified to abide by corporate branding standards to stay consistent with the external brand of the company. The private or public page may be tested and previewed before a live launch is assessed.
Particularly after the Haiti earthquake, YourCause mobilized and created a standard procedure for corporate clients to partake in immediate emergency relief using the Relief Manager. A total of $230,540 donations were raised through one client's disaster relief matching program.
Unfortunately, disasters are unpredictable. Extreme weather and tragic mishaps are broadcasted almost daily. The challenge of corporate leaders is to try to juggle relief agencies, nonprofit communications, corporate citizen and top management. YourCause provides that solution.
"Ultimately, YourCause was built on the belief to empower people with the tools to make a difference," said Matthew Combs, CEO of YourCause, LLC. "Our Relief Manager is simply a way to take technology and turn it into doing good. We can make any crisis local - and empower people to help one another."
