Zimory Appoints New CEO and Fortifies Management Team

Online, April 16, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Dr. Roth worked since 1999 at the Deutsche Börse and was responsible for various strategic projects in London, Chicago, and also at company headquarters in Frankfurt. Most recently, he was Executive Director heading up the Market Structure division at the Eurex derivatives exchange, a subsidiary of the Deutsche Börse Group. Since 2011, Dr. Roth has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the European Energy Exchange (EEX) in Leipzig and since 2013 a member of the Supervisory Board of the Deutsche Börse Cloud Exchange. His move to Zimory underscores the commitment of the German stock exchange to the technology firm Zimory. Both companies are working jointly towards launching the neutral marketplace for cloud infrastructure, the Deutsche Börse Cloud Exchange.

The management team at Zimory is also being strengthened by Josef Glöckl-Frohnholzer. As industry expert, he previously served for over ten years as Managing Director at BCC Business Communication Company GmbH, after holding several executive positions at Siemens Industrial Solutions & Services. Glöckl-Frohnholzer will be responsible for the area of Sales & Marketing at Zimory.
