Zisboombah.com Launches Kids Cook-off With Chef Hosea Rosenberg And Chef Chris Blackwood

ZisBoomBah.com launches Pick Chow! Across America a spectacular live cooking competition between two local celebrity chefs at the Boulder Creek Hometown Fair. Ensuing is a month-long Healthy Meal Challenge for families at home.

On September 4th, 2010, ZisBoomBah.com kicks off its inaugural Pick Chow! Across America© event with an "Iron Chef" style cook-off between prominent Boulder chefs Hosea Rosenberg (StrEat-Chefs) and Chris Blackwood (The West End Tavern). Each chef will create a healthy meal that has to please the taste buds of the toughest culinary judges in town: kids. A featured highlight on Kid's Day of the festival will start at 2 pm. The event will be video taped as a feature show on ZisboomBah.com.

Pick Chow! Across America consists of a kids cook-off and the Healthy Meal Challenge. In a task no less daunting than what the professional chefs face on stage, participating families have to cook one meal each week together that their kids create using the website's free online tool Pick Chow! Each Sunday, the families submit photos, videos and a story documenting their Pick Chow! adventure. The Healthy Meal Challenge begins September 7.

Here is how it works:
• Each week, kids log on to ZisBoomBah.com and create at least one meal per week with the website's free online tool Pick Chow!
• Their family then has to cook the meal as a family, write a story about it and submit it each Sunday with a photo.
• Contestants can sign up at the Hometown Fair or at ZisBoomBah.com.
• What's in it for participating families? Support from ZisBoomBah's own food and health experts and free stuff from sponsors. Families who finish the challenge receive a grand finale gift.
