Hair stylists at Blo will work in shifts over 24 hours this Sunday to raise money and help prevent child abuse during the fifth annual "SNIP, SNIP, GIVE 24-Hour Cut-A-Thon" on Jan. 29 and 30.

Blo designer Brittany Wilson spent a week helping the producers of a new short film create characters with the right look. The movie tells the story of child abuse and neglect and will be entered into major film festivals.

Redken has named Blo Salon as its very first "Rising Star," an exclusive award in which Blo was named from among 10,000 Redken Elite salons worldwide.

The most distinguished salon in the Triangle continues to keep its skills razor sharp, as five stylists at Blo recently earned Redken's highest certifications.
