International film competition featured new visual works set to classical music with Symphony performing finalists' works live-to-film. 13-year-old local student wins Audience Favorite Award at April 29th season finale.

Dallas Chamber Symphony will debut Finalist independent films from its first-ever Sight of Sound Competition. The concert will include additional performances (sans film) of Beethoven's Creatures of Prometheus Overture and Symphony No. 2 in D Major.

The First Annual Movie Institute Student Film Competition encourages students entering grades 6-12 to demonstrate their filmmaking skills and compete for free registration to attend Kamp Hollywood July 25 - 31 in Dallas.

The first annual Faces of Hunger in America film contest, sponsored by Palms for Life Fund (*), will be open to online voting through December 4. The contest challenges young filmmakers to document hunger in their communities.
