"We secured investments totaling US $12,296 million for Chile last year, which created over 5,300 jobs, an increase of 32% over 2021. This reaffirms foreign investors' confidence in Chile," said Karla Flores, the Agency Director.
According to InvestChile's analysis, this is 36% higher than the five-year average of US$12.617 billion and 23% higher than the average for the 2003-2022 historic series (US$13.921 billion).
The guide has been prepared by the South American country's Foreign Investment Promotion Agency. It contains the main guidelines to promote this area of the financial industry.
Beatriz Herrera and Vanessa Séverin were selected as investment attachés for Washington, D.C. (USA), and Berlin (Germany), respectively.
The President made this statement at the event that brings together more than 100 representatives of companies from 28 countries with investment projects worth US $4 billion.
