Mr. Popke Huizinga has been appointed as director of IOS Press as of the 1st of February. The announcement was made by Dr. Einar Fredriksson during Mr. Huizinga's 20th anniversary celebration on February 4th.

TU Delft Library and IOS Press have signed an agreement to publish at least ten Open Access (OA) books - as ebooks - by authors affiliated with TU Delft. Both parties hope to stimulate the use of OA within all TU Delft departments.

IOS Press has reached an agreement with Taylor & Francis for the transfer of four journals to its publishing program. The journals are: Main Group Chemistry, International Journal of RF Technologies, Bridge Structures and Journal of Neutron Research.

IOS Press announces a change in the journal title I-Ways - Journal of E-Governance and Regulation (ISSN 1084-4678). The journal will now be known as Journal of E-Governance (ISSN 1878-7681).
