On January 29, 2011, the second annual Community Kickball Challenge will pit 32 teams against one another to become the ultimate kickball squad in Central Florida. All proceeds will be donated to the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute.

HealthONE's The Medical Center of Aurora (TMCA) Emergency Medical Services and Trauma departments in conjunction with The American Heart Association (AHA) will host its first Community Kickball Tournament Fundraiser on Saturday, July 31.

A Washington D.C. adult kickball team has won the 2009 World Kickball Championship Founders Cup. More than 1,500 kickball players on 72 teams competed in the 12th annual tournament held over Columbus Day weekend in Las Vegas.
