The Ventanilla de Salud program is a crucial resource for the Mexican and Latinamerican community in Georgia Alabama, and Tennessee, providing health education, guidance, navigation preventive screenings to thousands of people every year.

Dr. Hernandez has a broad background in community-based participatory research (CBPR), women's health disparities, health policy, and social determinants of health. She will join the 2021 board slate to strengthen and deepen the work the Latino Community Fund does in Georgia.
