Children's author Melissa M. Williams (Iggy the Iguana) will discuss her process for selling books as an indie publisher, her author visits throughout schools in Texas and a short-story contest which will publish stories written by kids, for kids.

LongTale Publishing introduces the literacy foundation READ3Zero, designed to support the nourishment of creative endeavors in children. READ3Zero is presently taking story submissions and will publish short-stories written by kids, for kids in 2010.

LongTale Publishing and author Melissa M. Williams will visit Houston ISD's Hunter's Glen Elementary School on Thursday, October 23rd, 2009. The students will learn the importance of reading, studying and nourishing their creative spirits.
