Third-generation family member, Brad McVaugh, was named Machine Shop Manager at Laboratory Testing Inc. He oversees the machining of test specimens required for mechanical testing and metallography, and sample preparation for ICP analysis.

Lee Dilks, chemistry and metallography manager at Laboratory Testing Inc., received an Award of Appreciation at the ASTM Committee E01 semi-annual meeting for his role as Secretary of subcommittees E01.08 and E01.20.

Laboratory Testing Inc. will display materials testing and nondestructive testing services in Booth 712 during the Titanium USA 2015 Exposition. The show will take place at the Rosen Shingle Creek Golf Resort in Orlando, FL on October 4-7, 2015. Laboratory Testing Inc. welcomes Greg Fackler as Metallurgical Engineer. His primary responsibilities include conducting microstructure examinations, macrostructure examinations, microhardness testing and failure analysis.

LTI announced the promotion of Marion Crooks to Assistant Manager of Chemistry and Metallography. Previously, she held the Chemistry Supervisor position and joined LTI in 2001 as a Chemistry Technician. Marion graduated from Delaware Valley College.

Alan Fabiszewski has joined the Metallography Department at Laboratory Testing Inc. as a Metallurgist. He will perform metallurgical testing to reveal material characteristics, identify defects, and carry out failure analysis and weld qualification.
