In honor of Earth Day, Piola (www.piola.it), the Italian restaurant known for its pizza and its art exhibits, has launched several acts of green to raise awareness about the environment and to raise funds for local sustainability efforts.

Piola, the Italian chain with 34 restaurants in nine countries, is an official sponsor of the Miami International Film Festival. Piola extends a 20 percent discount to all festival ticket holders during from March 2 - 11.

Piola will unveil a locally inspired Earth Day menu at its restaurants in Brickell, Miami Beach and Hallandale Beach April 19 - 23 to showcase the produce from the Roots In The City Overtown community garden and the work of the inner city nonprofit
