Testing for Radon Gas in Schools Could be Life Saving

Cancer Survivors Against Radon (CanSAR) received a check for $10,000 as the result of a donation campaign run by top indoor environmental health company, Spruce Environmental Technologies, Inc. CanSAR works to save lives from radon-induced lung cancer through awareness and political action.

For National Radon Action Month, RadonAway is collecting, and matching, donations to CanSAR in support of the nonprofit organization's efforts to raise public awareness and reduce the risk of radon-induced lung cancer, which claims 21,000 lives annually in the U.S. alone.

Radon is the #1 environmental health threat. November 7th, 2015 marks the start of the first UK Radon Awareness Week, an important and necessary step for improved awareness of the national and international health risk radon gas poses.

Professionals and scientists in the radon industry are attending the annual International Radon Symposium in Bloomington, MN this week. Spruce Environmental Technologies Inc., the parent company of AccuStar® Labs, RadonAway®, and RCi, will be exhibiting and training professionals throughout the three day conference.
