Literacy, environmental responsibility and global citizenship have one thing in common: STELLAA, a Canadian non-profit, collecting new and used books and school supplies to provide literacy and education in Africa, to help end poverty.

STELLAA hosts Laughing for Literacy Fundraiser at Yuk Yuks Vaughan on Nov. 26, 2009, 7pm -10pm to bring light to Africa's hunger for education while promoting the recycling of books. Tickets cost $25 and include 1 1/2 hrs of comedy, door prizes.
