The Richmond Spiders continue to advance in the NCAA due in part to their implementation of Dr. Yessis' revolutionary sports specific exercises that mimic that of real game play.

Civil War and Emancipation Day is a commemoration of both the start of the Civil War and the emancipation of U.S. slaves. The event will include participation from 15 different historic sites in the area, including exhibits, presentations, etc.
